New Studio at The Wedge in the River Arts District

I stumbled one morning into a beautiful space at the Wedge in the River Arts District.  It was ready to rent and I was ready to rent it!  You can find me painting from late morning to 4:30 or 5:00 in Whitespace on Level 2 on most Mondays through Saturdays.

The River Arts District began as an artist community in 1985 when the business Highwater Clays moved into the area. The then run down area has grown to over 150 participating  artists and several restaurants, businesses and shops. At the back of my building is the Wedge Brewing Company, a popular spot for an end of the day brew and a new restaurant that will open its doors this spring. I am loving being all mixed up in the hub bub of the neighborhood.........meeting fellow artists and some quite interesting visitors that come through. I hope you'll stop in if you are in Asheville.  I would just love that!
"Here's to freedom, cheers to art.  Here's to having an excellent adventure and may the stopping never start."

  1. My friend Marcia Baird Beale posted info on FB. We have been friends since our childhood in Venice/Nokomis Florida. Asheville is a very vibrant cultural area. You are fortunate. I am an artist in central Delaware where we struggle for venues and promotion of individual artists with little gallery space. Love your work. You are Blessed.
